@truthmerchant1 It seems that it was the Treasury which stopped the free milk and Thatcher argued against it. She was Education Secretary at the time not PM. That was Ted Heath. It was Labour and the press who smeared her with this slur. And far more mines were closed under Labour than the Tories in case you didn't know.
