Sanjib, I have no doubt that Britain exploited the mineral and timber resources of its former colonies ( including India's ) as all the former colonial nations must have done. But at the same time that must have meant employment for many people and an industrial kickstart for countries such as India. These may be more enlightened times but China is taking exploitation to a whole new level especially in Africa. Britain has an excellent relationship with India now so please don't spoil that relationship and, who knows, we may one day be allies again against China's imperialist ambitions. Have a good day.
