I was born in 1950 when Britain was practically bankrupt. Many Brits suffered deprivation and there was precious little food on our table. Can you imagine how we would have felt if German prisoners had been better fed than us ?

@KenHumphrey1 Sorry, Henry, your comment has confused me. Who were refused water, the German POWs ? And do you mean American GI's were held hostage by Stalin.

@KenHumphrey1 If I had seen the nazi death camps, either personally or in newsreels, I'm pretty sure I would have been less than benign towards the German POWs, especially when many of those German POWs would have committed atrocities themselves. Having said that, two wrongs will never make a right. Maybe it's just a question of who is the least brutal. And as we know, the nazis took that to new heights.

@bwfvc7770 The next conflagration will be against Islam. They are taking our country town by town, city by city while the people are being brainwashed into accepting " multiculturalism " and " diversity ".
