A devalued currency it's actually good for exports. Problem is turkish economy namely industry depends on export of raw materials,and thus not so positive. Currency management is doble geopardy game.

Not only the currency changed (loosing zeros) under erdogan but also the jnflation rate is at 50% which is an absurd number for an economy the size of turkiye.

And the danger of populists (very much this century phenomenon) is that their unorthodox policies made for popular personality can bring a country to it's knees.

@tuncborabergsan811 ya, china is china of europe, it's a bad idea to start with. That's the problem of med countries, insted of using the excelente geographic position to band wagon europe market, they suffer some sort of unorthodox experiment. It's so weird. All med sea countries including eu members 🤷‍♀️
