@janewu3178 before america started supporting isr, they fought a war v a coalition of arabs and won, and this us before having an army the size and scope of what is today IDF. They seem to be pretty strong.

As far as I read a portion of it is international recognized israeli territory not internationally recognized occupied territory - but for hamas its all occupied territory as plaestinians don't recognize any territory as israeli. It ends up being confusing and pro-palestinians aswell as pro-israelis from the outside use this confusion to propagate their narratives.

@arktseytlin arafat didn't agree on the confort of tunis or paris on anything. There is an interview of al arabia of a saudi diplomat that explains arafat backed down every time. The why is not really explained.

@Ali-oj1sm grew up in the 90's with a pic on my mind. It was a father who place himself between a wall and his child making the child the body who would receive the bullets, and voilá the child died and the dude survived unharmed. My father at the time explain he would put himself and the wall surrounding me so that his body would protect me. So yeah, there are parents who do it.

 @MNomad90 that kind of thought process is what made a lot of people stop support to the cause internationally, it only hurts the final objective and it helps zero palestinians.

 @chrisdonohue1607 IRA is a very good example as they were a terrorist org aswell, their cause was just but the way they handled things was also wrong.

Gaza isn't being occupied but blocked (by egipt aswell) with a poor blockaid (rockets enter so 🤷‍♀️) - and who decides what and where, the heads of hamas aren't in gaza.

The answer is yes, egipt is part of the bessiege. But it isn't a very good one as rockets are still smuged among other things.

@RadiantStar8997 "the west" didn't invade iraq - a coalition led by usa did. There is no political entity representing "the west". Are u refering to lebanese civil war? Last I heard that ended with syria invading. Afghanistan - 9/11. U need to get better whataboutism to have effect.

@RadiantStar8997 exploitation means becoming richer thru ressources. Usa hasn't, overall it became poorer, as for example lithium exploitation was sold to china during usa ocupation. So exploitation isn't the right word is it since usa lost money. A region can mean anything as everyone has its own prespective, doesn't make it reality. Also, the west and usa aren't the same thing: one is a country the other half the globe.

 @yasuke1280 usa gave land to no one bessides liberia. It is a late arrival to the party. UK was expelled by acts of terror and thus gave nothing. UN wasn't the entity but league of nations.
