When it comes to places such as north africa complaining of colonialism is hilarious cause they say it as if they weren't colonialist themselves. And yeah, having an outside guilty party is a very smart deflection of self-criticism.

@badluck5647 not really cause there are places that have been shaking it off pretty darn well - botswana, singapoor. It isn't 1 rule fits all. The difference here is that spain didn't get it's independance in the middle of a cold war where the players chose spain as the hot spot.

Actually no, the industrial age had women as 2nd class citizens and it didn't stop europe from developing. Most of women equality comes from post-industrialism with the pill.
13
The video does not aproach modern time countries but the historical context of why there was a huge loss of gdp from ummayads to ottoman empire - the asean countries aren't even in the story.

@aimanmarzuqi4804 lebanon has all those things and they managed to distroy a productive economy. There is a cultural aspect never criticized cause no one wants to be labeled as racist. And yes, the existing criticism is also unfair and actually racist. Either they enter the self-criticism mode or they are doomed be it by ocupation, be it self-destructive. It is what it is - making narratives just doesn't help.
8
Using extreme violence as a problem solver was already in the culture - hebron massacre was in 1929 when there was no state of israel.
8
For many palest it was an anti-fatah vote not a pro-hamas one. And it makes sense. Maybe this is also why egipt voted for muslim brotherhood as egipt several regimes were/ are extremely corrupt and do cause a lot of marginalized sections of society.

@DavidHalko economies in general will buy less oil as opose to buy zero oil. Still, this will make oil price lower as most of the profit isn't in the raw material but in the process be it refining it or using it to make plastic. It will be a punch for oil based economies, hence why the gulf countries are already investing in other areas.

@Mightyflynn77 hey internet found the dude obcessed with skin shades!
5
@JUDALATION so if hitler called backsis when berlin was surrounded then everyone should sing cumbaya with the nazis 😂 That's ur logic applied to another war.
5
Daddy and mama doing the deed like everyone else... 🤦♀️
4
The pill was the ultimate women liberator.
4
@ecoideazventures6417 it didn't. Israel has also their fair share of bad strategy and bad actors. Neta being one of them.
4
Found the extremist section 😂
4
@aimanmarzuqi4804 u just produced a narrative to excuse a group u are emotional invested in. Again, narratives don't help - it only prolongs the suffering.
4
The nail in coffin was aid without demands and it's unchecked management. Most of the aid didn't go to infrastructure and development, it was embelzeled. Haiti is an aid dependant economy.
3
@charlesscott4722 ur conflating a country with a political party which is intelectual dishonest. Country can and should make peace. Political parties whose ideology is a danger to the world is another story. Authoritarian and totalitarian parties are usually extremely dangerous even towards themselves. Would love to have a different response to give u.
3
There are so few qataris that it's just the monarch paying off so that the group allows him most of the profit. In practice, it's 100% private not state owned 😂
3
@mistermood4164 that's a mith. Interest is what makes a loan possible. Many people were able to increse their assets and be richer because of it. Example: all the business that start as a small company with a small loan. The loan is payed in a few years and the buisness owner enjoys his work. The people who don't like interest and considers it unethical, does so due to political and religious afiliation. Slavery is when someone abducts and makes the hostage work against his will - no contract- for free.
3
@mistermood4164 slavery was an intern institution well accepted by most civilizations. It was from the uk that the 1st intern lobby against slavery was founded. It was from a christian country that a war against slavery was declared. To no avail, albeit intern illegal, slavery is still prevalent. Japanese weren't abrahamic but had slaves, chinese weren't abrahamic but had slaves, astechs weren't abrahamic but had slaves. Enslavement was the rule everywhere.
3
Feudalism is prohibited but slavery is not. The problem isn't islamic jurisprudence but the manner in which is applied cause the laws are written by humans even islamic one as they go by how the mulemas interpret the scripture. Also, the whole ottoman empire was a conglomerate of provinces, each full of internal warfare and that is exactly cause power wasn't inherited, producing successive political crisis. The ottomans themselves had a time where fratricide was the norm!!! The profet never left an organized form of governance nor a legislation compendium with defined articles.
3
I might sound conspiracy here but isn't that what a israel propaganda might want u to think? 😂
3
@shrin210 japan is a very particular case. Women were given rights but large chunk of the men kept the creepy sexuality - women find troble in being attracted to cringe creeps - thus no sex life for everyone. No sex life, no relationship, no relationship no familly. Too many accepted cringe creeps around.
3
People's views didn't change that much. Normalization of birth control has.
3
@lukemurray4950 not culture per say, culture view towards birth control. Also, male performance is an issue, the world has too many cringe creeps which removes motherhood desire on females.
3
@lukemurray4950 ur wrong. Brasil has a low fertility rate and no one describes brasilians as wealthy. Same goes to many countries. Low birthrate comes from normalization of contraceptives. Countries that vilify birth control (culture, law etc) have higher birthrate.
3
@marwanelmeligy8235 and the ottoman formula of rulling (who wasn't strictly islamic) is the basis for federalism somewhat.

When the saudis started having money they started buying cars and other luxury items, a bunch of imams and more traditional tribesman got very upset by the use of such progress in saudi land. This story explains why there was never a cleaver adaptation of the whole banking sistem sooner than latter. Traditionalism can happen in any culture but when in extreme political power it produces stagnation - see the dudes who live in usa and drive carrages cause cars are of the devil. In another dimension the mulemas and political powerful famillies could have found halal banking sooner and make jump then. The ottomans could have not forbidden the printing press and invest more on literacy. It wouldn't make it less islamic as it would be done according to culture and religion just not as stagnant as it was.
2
Thr issue is that if u have an unstable and insecure country the most basic aspect of capitalism never starts, aka, private property.
2
@ArawnOfAnnwn yes my prespective must be a falacy. How else can u censor any opinion that doesn't submit to ur wants and needs litle emperor. Muslim brotherhood is the parent party of hamas. It's also the org who translated and published hitler book titled in arab "my jihad" which was a very conscience atempt to conect islam with nazism. Let's pretend some stuff in history isn't there - we need to protect muslim brotherhood reputation in the world right?
2
That would trigger a lot of folks in intern comunity cause politics. Part of the problem is that the conflict is used to play politics instead of actually carrying for the people caught in this.
2
There is a saying: hell is full of good intentions. Governm are bad actors in nature - keep that in mind.
2
Dominicans are not interested. Some dominicans even hate haitians. For, context domin republic built an actual wall to seperate the 2.
2
@wengelder9256 he was selfih and had general bad political ideas. He was a horrible representative of palest aspirations. Palest political class is horrible.
2
If u go to regenerative farming and permaculture iniciative u can see some projects being done with palest refugees that allow them to achieve a much better capacity to produce a be productive. It's the give a fish teach how to fish story.
2
Did u know that one of the reasons that made jewish diaspora keep their jewish identity was exactly cousin mariage?
2
@aimanmarzuqi4804 I don't remember if it was west bank, jordan or lebanon. But it was a small property developed by a lady who manage to build a house with an almost self sustaining garden with very litle investment (nominal even). Permaculture can actually uplift people without resorting to eternal welfare dependance. It's one more benefit.
2
It produces a feeling of superiority doesn't it? Is a u all owe me kind of feeling.
2
@hikashia.halfiah3582 it's all capitalism, even the socialist dictatorships were capitalist.
2
😂 That's such a good point.
2
@Omer1996E.C and before that u followed whatever was decided for u as if it was god himself speaking. Islamic law can be many different things according to many different interpretations - which makes it very easy to pick and choose. Making contracts not good evidence is a bad principle as it makes one own word worthless. Having a justice preferential sistem of one group over another (discrimination hello!) doesn't help either - these are very good basis of a society prone to corruption. And these are just 2 mentioned in the video that is extremely superficial.
2
That's exactly what the video explains.
2
U went straight into defending religion and haven't even trully digested the video and what it proposes 😂
2
@gemmalee3032 oh so cause ur asian u must be smarter than every other location on earth 😂 Fun fact: supramacism can happen to any given group But do cary on oh asian superior do lead humanity 😂
2
@y.l7455 it plays a part. There is a long line of guilty parties in this, it's undeniable.
2
Basicly everyone colonized everyone 😂
2
That's stupid - the first cities were built in the mena region 😂
2
@mayazmahmud1740 great in comparisson to europe - yes cause europe was hellhole. But great in comparisson to present day most places, definatelly not. People have a tendency to romanticize the past - slavery was a commonality in the same middle east that had it's golden age - the slaves weren't great, they were suffering.
2
In america it's called isolationists. China also pretends that it uses that policy in foreign affairs.
2
3.3 that isn't economic aid - its a mix of loans, research funding and military loans/ sales. That money comes back cause it's business. There is also private funding - and that one u can argue that's part of the problem as it is to fund settlers - but it isn't state sponsored its 100% private. Wanna tell people where to out their money? Good luck in that endeavor, americans love the concept of limits in political and religious freedoms 😂
