@kashmirha I agree. Not all slave descendants dwell in the past. I am descendant of slaves and nobles alike. Also, Indonesia is a product of also internal colonialism, which is something indonesians keep forgetting.

Usa is one of the main financeers to end slavery that is happening in present time. What u want is money to people who aren't enslaved as opposed to participation in the fight against slavery in which USA is very active.

Usa already did it. Slavery was abolished and usa took part (and still finances) in the world lobby to make slavery illegal everywhere (albeit being an almost lost war as some keep the sistem under other name).

@silencemeviolateme6076 all countries should apologize for bad foreign policy of the past and than clean slate and moove on. There is a trend pf dwelling in the past that helps no one.

@Wiegraf ur countries political class inherit from former political class. Nothing to do wirh u in particular, don't take it personal as it isn't.

@CedarHunt that is also a legacy and a historic responsability. One doesn't annul the other. All countries that exist today inherit the good and the bad passed on from political class to political class. It isn't personal, it just is.
