@valeriecarlin1524 crimes was never russian. Historically it was even a muslim state. Crimea is crimea, one of the oldest civilizations of europe.

@Gebytegaming where did u read that? It's a theory based in polish linguistics not russian with the meaning of peoples of south border, but even that doesn't hold as no one is sure.

@Gebytegaming not a question of brlief: historical claim is emotional, telling me to go there is emotion, belief is emotion - none of which define the fact of how ownership is decided.

@Mexicanj0ker2 there is always a religious figure claiming things, crimea still is crimea: not russian, not ottoman, not bizentium. Either accept international law that states it's ukranian or state it as a unique place, making it russian is ludicrous.

@Mexicanj0ker2 fact is demographic doesn't define a country not ethnicity - both those claims would be enough to throw russia in the garbage for example. Claiming I need to go to a place is evoquing to emotions not facts.

@Gebytegaming that's because there is oil and gas there. Certain regimes (due to their inability to develop economically beyong raw mats exports) tend to hate competition or not to get lion share.

@user-jj1bp3es3j that would be your book, still emotion based not facts. Borders aswell as countries are political constructions and, as such, are never set in stone, with exception of natural barriers for some but very rare cases. Still so far no facts have been provided and ofcourse none based on international law or even common sense.
