 @GhostSal and to add to it, slavery is still prevalent in nigeria, they still have cases of human sacrifice and kids being abducted. Shouldn't that be the main issue?

@rosemarywoolley8394 the historian answer was better: because that's what I do, I'm a historian. This is for everyone, a historian knows my country story better than I do 🤷‍♀️ and urs too.

 @kelly4187 no one. We need to focus on slavery happening today. The abolition isn't done until all slaves are freed.

@n0odles86 there was also georgian (country in the caucasus) slaves. These were nominal in number and females, originally sold by ottomans (they 2 had influence in new york as settling place), but these were extremely expensive and thus nominal in overall number.
