@MrDarchangelomni well, romance languages aren't necessarily the original languages in many parts of europe. Basque survived latinization. And here in iberia it wouldn't be arabic but a dead language (inquisition done that) and very much an european one that was a mixture with arabic but not arabic itself. As for germany, I hace a feeling that it wouldn't last. It was a one man show, and like others with its death, the show would die. Europe has been forever changing. Portugal and spain didn't exist prior to the reconquista, most european countries in their modern form are not old. Countries and borders are political constructions and europe is mostly a product of successive impositions of said borders and countries. Hence why EU works so well, for once people can conect to their respective cultural groups and cross border for such without state control and aparatus. Basque is a great example, there are basque who ended up being spain territory but there are basques who ended up being french territory, EU is what made basques reunite with each other fully, albeit been so long in political distance that both developed their own subgroups.
About portugal, what is interesting isn't the reconquista, but the fact it kept itself independant of spain. Actually pretty weird taking to account the lack of human power and that it was mostly done thru diplomacy, even though there are a few batles. The most interesting batle is called atolados, and portugal had zero casualties, this in medieval times makes it quite the story.

@MrMorristhecatp and now ur wrong. If that homeless goes on a rant and robs a buch of people he perceives as a race and inferior, is he being racist? Or just because he is poor than he has automatically a pass on his behaviour and ideas?
And his behaviour comes from him having a superiority complex or just from his sqewed belief sistem that race is real and that he is different from his victim by his preceived idea of race? Also, someone wrote black people can't be racist as went on the idea that black can't be because they have no power, which is incorrect, skin colour doesn't equate to a belief sistem of race existence. What peeps do nowadays is to consider racist when someone can act uppon the belief which is incorrect, just because u can't act uppon what u belief doesn't make u less racist, it makes u a frustrated racist but still a racist. Again, anyone who believes that there is more than 1 race, the human race, is a racist with or without powet to inact in said belief.
Also, black people don't have power, neither do white people as skin tone doesn't make u automatically powerful. Only individuals sit in power not groups of people with same fisical traits. As an example, obama or biden are more powerful than joe no one in finland or angola.

@B_Bodziak also, the countries u are refering to have small amounts of population and a fairly homogeneous majority. Many factors play at that. It's a vicious cicle, but being more lenient can be tricky. Portugal is known for being lenient and that has influence in safety. For example, domestic abuse related to drugs turns into murder, here the guy gets at most 25 years (that's the max). Then he gets out on some program and voilá it isn't the wife who gets the beating, it's the mother, or the kids, or whoever. 🤷♀️There isn't a perfect answer, all options have consequences. Here it is the n1 crime, its called passion crimes and its usually women getting killed by a partner. Than u have situations of petty crime and the guys doing it knowing the police won't dona thing about it, cause lenient sistem, they get right out after meering the judge, and at most get a slap on the reast. And, as for rehabilitation, we have it, but guess what, most guys in prison don't cooperate with it if it doesn't mean getring out early.

@heartmind6373 I am a slave descendant. U thought only europeans enslaved? Let me tell u, no, others also have, and a lot.
Great that u speak of sumeria. It's where hamurabi code is from, it has 200 something laws and than a few sentences one of which say something around the lines that "black folk as rulers are a curse to said ruled nation", basicly they were the first civilization to be blatantly racist and literally write their racism in stone. So u where saying?
Also, the vast majority of portuguese were dirt poor (starving, no shoes, no reading or writing, no sewage or toilet) by the end of portuguese colonialism, so its safe to consider the portuguese won litle to nothing from portuguese colonialism. Same thing for all the countries who colonialize (which is far more than the ones who didn't). Colonialism isn't an european exclusive.

@J_Madison u start with a lie, trump withold funds a week prior to his phone call - that's blackmail prior to any asking, which is an invitation to outside of usa politics into usa politics, if a non-trumpist had done so u would be crying treason. That allowed putina think he could play games, makes trump on the guilty list. Whatever happen with hunter in ukraine territory is up to ukraine, remeber sovereignty? Or does usa hava a say like previously russia did? Is this an exchange of territory or is this about a sovereign country? They all share guilt, but looks like trump for some reason is idolize by some like a demi-god who does no wrong.
Conclusion, one doesn't pull foreign oficials to internal politics or problems and one for sure doesn't mix internal politics with foreign policy in any situation, it's a no no for obvious security reasons. Secondly, one doesn't idolize humans being, nor does politics on the basis that a president is perfect cause that's for regimes such as russia or iran. That's my opinion and I'm not even american. Finally the best principle: don't fight for politicians, make politicians fight for u. U idolize trump to the point u can't criticize him, u see him as a god.

@AquilMandiqui it's a yt coment section, using more than familiar english presents u having inferiority complex and in need of aproval of others.
But let's go: in 2000s a series of geological surveys were made in a greater area of the east med sea and since than putin went crazy, hence he changed russian foreign policy into a very agreassive violent one. I called it gas wars: a bunch of diplomats and entrepeneurs started dying, invasion after invasion, all those "separatist issues" of neighbours etc.
Russia is the one who tripped, others for now are only words (lebanon vs israel - resolution was reached this year, turkiye vs greece, etc). All these stem from the findings of gas deposits in which the best is the urkainian one cause its shallow inland and hence the cheapest to tap plus near the desired market. Also, in the middle of this, putin thought he could win an oil war v the saudis which ended up with the arab spring and an atempted assassination of the yemen king and civil war, ghadaffi death and lybian civil war etc.
It's all about controling the supply part of supply and demand of energy market.
Well informed and delivered.
