Apples and oranges, russia is at best a medium player meanwhile usa is n1 econony and is a colossus. Russia is a has been, cope, russia has no power to atract its own backyard let alone entice an economy the size of mexico 😂. At most russia would increse its internal narcotic consuption and import a way better organized weapons dealing cartel 😂

@AquilMandiqui it's a yt coment section, using more than familiar english presents u having inferiority complex and in need of aproval of others. But let's go: in 2000s a series of geological surveys were made in a greater area of the east med sea and since than putin went crazy, hence he changed russian foreign policy into a very agreassive violent one. I called it gas wars: a bunch of diplomats and entrepeneurs started dying, invasion after invasion, all those "separatist issues" of neighbours etc. Russia is the one who tripped, others for now are only words (lebanon vs israel - resolution was reached this year, turkiye vs greece, etc). All these stem from the findings of gas deposits in which the best is the urkainian one cause its shallow inland and hence the cheapest to tap plus near the desired market. Also, in the middle of this, putin thought he could win an oil war v the saudis which ended up with the arab spring and an atempted assassination of the yemen king and civil war, ghadaffi death and lybian civil war etc. It's all about controling the supply part of supply and demand of energy market. Well informed and delivered.

@AquilMandiqui and the topic isn't about me but the problem of how immigration is perceived by generally right and left parties. A form of deflection is to distract the other side into saving itself from some for of attack. I know where I politically stand, that doesn't make me less critical of both sides, as so should any voter. Now u were writing?

Usa didn't take putins hand nor invited him into his wako foreign policy, nor asked to win something. Ur making efforts into narratives that include ur personal anti-usa bias.
