@patriotzfinder I was refering to a council televised a day or two before the invasion where a dude was sweating cause he wanna say that invasion was a bad idea, but that wasn't what putina wanted to hear, classical dictator moment. That's the one dude I was refering to.

@pisacsenna3001 all dictators and even monarch had/ have ministers and a equilibrium of control/ negociation. Ur basing urself in a false permisses on purpose. Also, russia is a dictatorship faking to be a democracy - that's how they manipulate/ control the federal subjects (constitucion description) as seen in 2011 protests and subsequent measures.

@J_Madison russia wasn't at bay, ur making a statement based on a false permisses. Example: alloying russian diplomats lobby to ease 2014 sanctions on steel and other products. Trump always favored trade over geopolitics as he is a business man. The ease on said sanctions made putinists think they could get away with it. Another example: blocking military aid to ukraine (for his own internal politics reasons, bad bad idea to mix external with internal affairs) when they were preparing, made putinists think invasion was a good idea as ukraine was less prepared than if it has received said funds. In both instances it was a show of weakness and I don't even think he was conscious how much this would be perceived as it was. The thing that postponed this full scale invasion was covid not trump probably. Trump is human and not a god, ideolizing him makes american voters look stupid, like russian ideolize putin or nazi germany ideolized hitler. The guilty is a big list, trump isn't alone in it, but he still is there.

@ppen8359 old school listen to all parties and does whatever can help with addition to popularity (in a game of negociante all groups/ lobby to keep power), nothing new. He also used radicals to fund his campaign, also not original. All of this is old school. The inflation has dimished hasn't it? Also, go to any other country with a developed economy and see how much university are public funded? It's a way to ease entrance to job market and, in the end, funds companies as people with less debt tend to settle to less pay. It's just a populist measure in the midst to less populist measures, very old school method.

@J_Madison u start with a lie, trump withold funds a week prior to his phone call - that's blackmail prior to any asking, which is an invitation to outside of usa politics into usa politics, if a non-trumpist had done so u would be crying treason. That allowed putina think he could play games, makes trump on the guilty list. Whatever happen with hunter in ukraine territory is up to ukraine, remeber sovereignty? Or does usa hava a say like previously russia did? Is this an exchange of territory or is this about a sovereign country? They all share guilt, but looks like trump for some reason is idolize by some like a demi-god who does no wrong. Conclusion, one doesn't pull foreign oficials to internal politics or problems and one for sure doesn't mix internal politics with foreign policy in any situation, it's a no no for obvious security reasons. Secondly, one doesn't idolize humans being, nor does politics on the basis that a president is perfect cause that's for regimes such as russia or iran. That's my opinion and I'm not even american. Finally the best principle: don't fight for politicians, make politicians fight for u. U idolize trump to the point u can't criticize him, u see him as a god.

Fascist regimes (with populism sprinkles) tend to find a scape goat group to discriminate. In this case it's a mix "it's was the west" with finding common non happy with the situation naming them "foreign agents". He just needs to do a party purge of "foreign agents" within government and that's it, propaganda will take care of the rest. He just needs to keep the role of russia's savior or something around that line.
