There is a detail in that: there are countries who want to donate in exchange of a new more modern one for free given by germany. What germany said no to was giving used tanks plus giving new ones while it's germany who is pulling up hyrvina (currency) to allow ukraine to import its needs without crashing its currency value. When u ask a list too long takes time to choose what u can give.

@pogo1140 yes very true, but they were also the ones who asked for new airplanes to substirute ones they would send ukraine. No planes were sent when no new planes were offered (for free or for a minor price) which is doing biz out of the banner "help ukraine". No country is good and bad and no country should be exempt of criticism. U can praise the help and at the same time call out the wrong, that simple. It was almost an year ago, peeps tend to forget.

@gumby2241 it actually was, japan attacked usa, declared war and after several defeats it was adament to not surrender and make japanese minors into soldiers. All options were bad. Japan also had concentration camps during ww2. Ur using japan for political narrative which is entelectual dishonesty and ur also being pro-nazi.

A country is a political construct of internationally recognized borders and government often ignorantly confused with nation which is a group of similar identity thru culture, values, ethnicity etc. Yugoslavia integrity was attacked by yugoslavs, situations as kosovo is first and foremost in the shoulders of yugoslavs who decided to attack one another. Finding external guilt is a form of coping, a weakness of improvement. Actions have consequences.

@aaljumaili not necessarily. It can just drag resistance like a number of invaded countries have done so. The only ones who have a hurry is russia and usa/uk (aid givers). Ukraine has time now that so much is distroyed and rebuilt also means rebuilt economy and basics, they have time cause u can't fall from rubble, from rubble only upwards.

@Hios K that's not the reason. If u commit too much financially u ruin germany finances and than snow ball: german economy falls taking all eu with it. Wise people don't act populist nor on emotions. Most yt commentators don't seem to realize thism
