  2. It's more than that. Political parties and ideologies cross borders and try to influence/ stir citizens of the other. This creates instability and regimes end up aligning themselves for preservation. Jordan is a good example of this.

  3. That's cause sadam had already made iraq a jordanian monarchy enemy - product of arab cold war who happened at the same time as soviet - usa cold war - a part of history who isn't mentioned. Baath part was/is anti-monarchist and anti-theocracy aligned sometimes with soviets.

  7. ​ @jarazy1232 iran regime is anti-monarchist and has since the Islamic revolution stated that their aim is export the revolution - this is a threat to jordan regime. This wasn't started by jordan but jordan 1st reaction is to protect itself like all others. Even fatah has oficially stated that hamas and iran had menaced jordan prior to these latest series of events.

It goes with previous greater syria project by assads baath (and sadam baath), it influence black september. U can't menace a regime and expect aliance and friendship - it doesn't work like that.

  9. Jordan doesn't have a beef with palest in general, in fact majority of jordaniand identify as palestinians. Jordanian does have a beef with palest political folk who have aligned themselves with anti-jordanian regimes (soviets, baath, iranian ayatollahs). It's basic politics, u can't be anti-monarchist and then demand jordanian blind friendship and loyalty - it doesn't work like that.

  10. Jordan is a const monarchy, they do vote for parliament. They aren't a republic, so the head of state is the king. It's more or less same as morrocco.
