Sure, as soon as china actually gets responsible for world trade safety in sea routes. A soon as china actually produces peace deals (no, it hasn't, china so far just sides with the military/ government who allows unoficial cheap export of raw materials at the expense of natives and ecology. As soon as china isn't neo-colonizing and has active cases of state sponsored slavery. Etc etc etc. Until then any neutral observant prefers the least bad which is still usa.

@grdev3066 who is gonna go v china? Who has a big enough economy to do so? Bessides usa, no one with a big enough economy wants the hassle, it's a waste of time and ressources. Only countries with imperial ambitions want to change the status quo.

@grdev3066 sea routes being protected by multiple governments was the norm until wwi, governments used that to atack each other unoficially thru piracy. Already tried and doesn't work. Why would one go against china? Well why wouldn't it, china isn't a nice neighbour, it has been making a long list of neighbour enemies in the last 50 years.
