Becareful about supporting measures like this. Future is electronic and online. Government keep giving themselves authority to walk into any private bank account and help themselves to any amount of money. I've experienced it personally. You just feel out right violated. Only reason I can't support a move to remove hard currency and go purely digital. You have no privacy and no security on line. Government can dip in or snoop any time they want.   2. Isn't this a Fundimentally racist an xenophobic policy to help yourself to someone else's cash because they are 'Russian'? There's a real danger that one or two of these 'Oligarchs' will chalange this nonsense in court and UK tax payers will end up paying them a whole lot more. But Boris Johnson won't run that one past you until we pick up the bill. I'm not taking the Russians side here. Just trying to understand a channel which spends half the year telling people they are racist or xenophobic. Our courts always seem to favour the rich. Just the way they work.
