Is this more important that the issue of the sky high male suicide rate ? Is this more important that father's rights and fixing the broken family court system ? I don't think so. Come on BBC stop reporting on bullsxxt minority groups and tackle some real domestic issues.

Militant veganism lol. Well when farmers take a shotgun to them an fill them full of buck shot at least we know they will be getting some iron in them. It's ok to be vegan it's not ok to force such beliefs on others. Most farmers I know won't put up with any of that sxxt.

Bamcameback your trying to shame farmers reguarding their livelihood. Imposing your life choice on them. Which is an awful thing to do. Our farmers do a great job raising live stock. To the highest welfare standards and do more than any other group to maintain the environment. What yer doing is frankly not fair. Take your issues to the environment agency where they belong.

Amber L. There is always people who fall short of our high standards. They absolutely need reporting to RSPCA and to take court action. It is not a reflection on the MAJORITY of British farms. Most British farmers would absolutely want the bad eggs weeding out. The whole world is not going vegan and your not shutting down British farms. I have no time for vegan fantasists that think that could be a reality.

Amber L. Emotionally you are right. But realistically you have to be a little cold about these things or meat would not make it onto the table. It is unpleasant. It's not fair. But unfortunately so is life. Most people carry out this work do care for the animals. If you thought of plants as though they felt pain, had feelings and communicated. You would not be able to eat them either. An research indicates that is true about plants.

Amber L. A: I don't defend animal abuse. I defend the right to eat meat. B: As I've stated the bad people caught falling short of high welfare standards deserve punishment. C: We absolutely should take the best care possible of these animals if we wish to eat them. They deserve a life before death.

Choose Vegan climate change or not you can't feed the worlds population on soya beans an quorn. A: it's not possible. B: Only 0:01% of the population would be happy with that situation.
