  3. Its a great idea. To my mind they should explore the idea of a tunnel like the channel tunnel between Scotland and North Ireland and a Tunnel between Ireland and Wales. Tunnel would be better than a bridge. Keeps the sea open to shipping. I don't understand people rubbishing people with a progressive view of the future. Large scale building has had a positive effect on all our lives.

  11. Improving road/rail networks to Ireland would massively reduce the need for budget flights. Would be much better for the environment. Only going to improve as British consumers switch to electric/hybrid cars We would need less expansion of our airports.

  13.  @mk100-c1z  Dublin is not placed well to be joined to the mainland. If you look at it like that then. Anything thats not connected to London is not viable. Realistically its a lasting project. Overtime it would undoubtedly pay for its self. There is just no quick pay off.
