  1. It's a sound liberalist principle that you have the right to the fruit of your own labor. However... one has to observe that natural opportunities (as land) is not the fruit of anyones labor. If you monopolize it, you owe the society a compensation in the form of a tax on the economic rent of the land. That rent is not generated by the owner of the land, but by the surrounding society. So it's the moral (and economic btw) best way to fund a state.
