Yes, it isn't just the entitlement but also an incredibly superficial reductionist and unrealistic view of what is important in a relationship ( mostly looks and getting their own way with everything ) that is unreasonable within the incel culture... especially when one looks at what many of them bring to any potential relationship - not all that much in many cases.

Because I'm the other narrator and so researching, writing, narrating, a bit of editing etc means something has to be outfarmed. Right now the channel has brought in a sum total of 0 cent so the easiest and cheapest thing to take off my plate is the narration. Obviously as we are able to afford some help we want to either narrate in-house or hire someone professional but the objective reality of the situation sometimes wins out.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm currently interested in 1. interviewing and posting an interview with a or multiple current male incels to explore their ideology and thinking, 2 female incels to see if they have a different psychopathology, 3 interviewing ex-incels to explore what got them out of that ideology. So, over time, I think we should be able to create a very interesting, high quality playlist on the topic. That's the plan anyways.

Thank you. Yes, being happy with yourself is the key to being a good partner in the first place also.

@carolinebennett5615 Very correct. But I think one of the crucial factors in their development is that it is preferrable for them to blame some external force outside of their control (Stacy's only go for tall men or caucasian men or men born into wealth or men with muscles my genetics prevent me ever developing etc) rather than take a cold hard look at themselves. We disagree with Jordan Peterson on a lot of what he says but I do think that his advice for them to go and make themselves someone worth dating is useful. P.s. Thanks for your comments. I've enjoyed reading them here and in other threads. Doc

I'm glad this video exposed you to some topics that you hadn't previously been aware of. Life's a learning rollercoaster ;)

There could be a thousand reasons why they left you. Focusing purely on your height versus their next boyfriends could be preventing you from really looking at yourself and working on those other, non height related issues. Either way I wish you the best.

When someone can provide a well-documented case with interesting psychopathology of misandrists engaging in either serial or spree killing based purely on gender. If you know of such cases please do let me know.

It is amazing what treating people with respect and kindness will do. This appears to be lost on lots of the incel crowd.

Sure, I used a voice created within Elevenlabs. I would caution you though that the vast majority of people have reacted very poorly to AI voices so I've gone back to voicing videos myself even though that takes a lot longer.

I think that taking personal ownership and responsibility and not externalising responsibility as a means of excusing themselves from responsibility for some portion of the outcome would be a great start.

Thanks, we're glad the video helped you understand the incel epidemic.

Our pleasure. We’re glad you’re enjoying our content.

Thank you for the compliment. Your post was very clear and understandable. Yes, Peterson is a complicated and controversial figure but as far as incels go while he says he understands and sympathises with their situation from what I've read it is clear that he is clear that they must take responsibility for their situation and address it.

I haven’t stopped you posting anything. Perhaps you should try not to make false allegations.

Thanks for the kind words. We're glad you enjoyed it.

Yeah, many people said this and we listened and we're going back to having Doc narrate all the videos. We were trying to avoid it as it takes extra time and Doc is, obviously, busy between the day job, research, writing etc etc so it decreases the amount of content we can put out to add recording to it. We have some thoughts on solutions and we'll test some of them over coming weeks and months.

True dat!

@AnonymousWatcher37-f6q that’s not the topic of the video and a complex situation which no simple reductive answer can cover. So I won’t here.
2
And what, pray tell, do you expect that uprising to look like?

That’s the same reasoning as the incels give. They can’t attract women because fate has dealt them a bad hand and women are all physically attracted to the gigachads out there. The reality is that it isn’t their aesthetics that’s the problem it is their viewpoint and attitudes in which they view women as lesser objects there simply to fulfill their physical needs and in which they refuse to look inward at the real reasons they aren’t viewed as good partners.

Thanks, we're glad you enjoyed it.

Yes, that's true to an extent. The problem is that their ideology doesn't need to be promulgated through sexual reproduction but can spread sociogenically and while the individual incel's genes may not pass on other disaffected young men may find the ideology speaks to them and harm others while they're in the process of blaming everyone else for their failings and failures.

Yes although there's always the question of whether the rates are increasing vs historical norms, whether we're just getting better at spotting and testing for it OR whether our definition of what is pathological is expanding so much that we're pathologising too much of the spectrum of human neurodiversity. It is an interesting area for sure.
