Any reasonable evaluation of discharging responsibility must involve a comparison to what others were doing. Better than anyone else is going to have to be good enough, and would be for any objective, unbiased evaluation. Instead, the standard of evaluation being peddled is not just perfection, as the hosts point out, but perfection in light of hindsight. Their threadbare excuse for this is their assertion "The President has access to knowledge the rest of us don't." So, their accusations rest not even on the usual "anonymous sources" dodge, but on speculation on information they admit they don't have. Anyone who falls for that is an idiot, Turm!
