That's obviously not FEMA. Government does not equate to selflessness. If anything the reverse. "Private companies priority is always profit, money, spending cuts, not helping people." There is no profit for SpaceX in this, except maybe corporate goodwill, and they only get that if they help. Everything that Elon does has a "saving the world" angle from his viewpoint. There are easier and safer ways to make money. "I can see future problems with completely unsupervised corporations or others coming in to help." We're not against coordination, we're against incompetent and unhelpful coordination. "But, I don't think anyone wants genuine help stopped" We're not complaining about what we think they want. We're complaining about what they're doing.

  13. Starlink is not blocked in the Ukraine controlled areas. There are Russian occupied areas where it is blocked. Do you begrudge his generosity? He's under no obligation to do any of this.
