Trump makes reforms it will have to happen inside the context of the FED made economy. The US economy is not controlled by the White House. The White House only controls the State and that has slipped away from the White House with more idiots occupying it every 8 years. The State has elements in it more powerful than the White House. Homeland Security, the Pentagon, the State Department, Department of Justice are the institutions of power that are controlled by a cartel of two political parties. The parties are a cartel because controlling the political parties are the 1%, a social class of private entities.

All the FED has done by lowering the rate is to make the price other banks pay the FED for money they borrow to lend out to their own bank depositors, cheaper. The FED lowered the wholesale price of money. In turn, the banks charge a rate to other borrowers have more retail room to raise the price yet stay below the social average cost of a mortgage. This is good for the banks and stingy for the consumer who saves around $120 bucks per month in money less paid in interest. Not a good deal I would say, considering in my day rates went from 6% in the 70s to 3% in the 80s. The Fed went from Funny Money in the 80s to Stingy Money in the 20s. Wow, I am thrilled (sic). Socially, the nuclear family is destroyed, patriarchy is wiped out. To raise children in America both parents must work and since children cannot be raised unsupervised and there is no such thing as universal child care, one parent staying home is out of the question. The changing workforce has lowered wages in general; it’s cheaper to hire a woman than a man in America because women are still second class citizens in America. They have given up the fight for parity. Now the family is extended under one roof. Two families are under a roof or 1.5 families share the same address and all contribute to pay the mortgage. This makes the relative holding the mortgage a hostile relative to the relative renting to live under the same roof, a hostile relative when the rent cannot be paid. In America, people kill each other over the smallest and petty issues. The children raised in multifamily homes will marry into another multi-family home and America will have more renters than owners spurring the growth of a new industry that builds homes to rent not buy. This will create a social class of people renting by choice and renters by need leading to the creation of a social class of landowners. Before long, America has the facade of a feudalistic society in modern form.
