If we do collapse the first thing workers should do is take over the factories that produce luxuries, convert them to produce articles for use and prevent the rich from continuing to enrich themselves and the second action; take over industries that produce subsistence products, so these are no longer dependent on the dollar as well. This way the next political party that takes over in managing the collapse cannot manage the collapse to the exclusion of working people, or at their expense.
