If you are in your mid-forties in age I cannot blame you for not being aware of the social consequences of the laws passed in 1980, through the Congress at the time, specifically by Ronald Reagan and across the pond Margaret Thatcher. You are living through the experience of the failure and decline of unbridled capitalism or, if your prefer, privatization as a mid aged adult. Privatization is only working for the few, the many become destitute and pauperized. This is the part of privatization the Congress left out when getting the votes to pass the laws and when explained to the American people, that it would split society in two halves and cripple the nation, leaving one half of the nation without the means for its own support and the other half competing for full possession of all the means. It was fine in the beginning but now that its run its course lives are at stake.
