  1. Neither party are going to give it to you. It takes heavy social pressure to get them to do it. The longer that waiting for something to happen goes on in the people the less chance social pressure is enough. The parties entrench themselves deeper while the masses are waiting for something to happen. They never rest to shore up their lines of power from the potential of revolution as a logical outcome to a crisis.
