Americans do not trust their institutions, not the media, the police, the Pope, the Far Right, a parent, teacher, doctor, not even Fauci is trusted, Biden, Obama, Clinton, not the oligarchs are trusted, not Winfrey, Gates, Zuckerberg, Bezos, not even the nice old man Warren Buffet, or anything else that is institutionalized, constitutes a real and general crisis of a society that is completely nihilistic. A trust that has fallen flat on the floor ever since Eisenhower left the presidency and JKFK was shot.
