The only possible progress in the world is Trump progress, Trump's progress and Trump's poverty of progress. A guy like Bolsonaro makes Brazilians and non-Brazilians wish for his demise for his burning down of the rainforest, like cops are never around when you need them, where's the assassin? On the other hand, the PM's nievete', Mr. Mette Fredericksen of Denmark, about the days of buying and selling countries and populations are over is laughable because those days are not over Mr. Fredericksen! Trump backed off on universal background checks is an indication that NRA knows its members are criminals with histories of their own.  The shift to mental illness could produce a positive law protecting the public if it becomes law a person submit to a pych evaluation as part of the process of owning a gun(s) and ammo. If the psyche eval comes back clean you got the gun. But was the Trump do about the black market for guns that fall into the hands of people who refuse to cooperate with the law or new law? He can give incentives to turn in and melt those guns into useful material of another kind if he were a mindful of the Public and not a president of limited mind.
