  2. I remember when DN interviewed a Mexican scholar whose wife is in the Obrador government, I wish I can remember his name. It was an interview that took place shortly after Obrador got elected in which the scholar, a leftist, who analyzed Obrador's election as overturning nearly a hundred years of rule of a two party system, the PRI and the PAN, dominating the political life of Mexico. He should be re-interviewed because he was right but not right about the politics of Obrador which is diametrically opposed to the politics of the people of Mexico. Be great to hear his views now since one evil has been replaced with a greater evil is an insight most on the left have no comprehension. How a repressive chauvinism of the state is formed against a people during the first empire and prosecuted as a class war against the people during a second empire.
