Liticia James inflates value to borrow and deflates her taxes with deductions and she’s a civil servant making $100K annually plus her husband’s non-civil service income income puts her in the upper middle class percentile to take many deductions. Its all pure hypocrisy. Trump does no more what others in his social class do. In fact, so does Congress. Bernie Sanders, Hawley, all of them do this, they wrote the tax code. The only people who do not are people who make a living through hard work and even they have groups among them like truck drivers take depreciation allowances just not as high. You do it and I do it. We are all liars when it comes to this. Amy Goodman does it. That its never mentioned proves the news, yes even DN, perpetuates the dishonesty and hypocrisy of a nation that cannot handle the truth because it lives a lie.

@petermartell568 It authorizes depreciation allowances not fraud. Do you own a factory, workshop, expensive tools, commercial trucks, containers, railroad tracks, oil rigs, and so on? If you do own these items and you are not taking a tax depreciation allowance on them then your tax attorney is working against your interest and if you do deduct the depreciation from what you owe Uncle Sam than you are dodging taxes. That’s not fraud that’s the rigged tax structure your congressperson wrote in a Tax Code. I am telling you he does no more than what others in his class do are not words of an apologist, dimwit.

@hizzlemobizzle a home owner can deduct a part of their home used for business, but this rule i the Tax Code does not apply to the millions of small property owners you call homeowners, they apply to large property owners all the small property owners work for. The rules for you and the rules for them are unequal.
