Comments by "DXR" (@MrDXRamirez) on ""Tired of the Apologies": Workers, Flyers Say Southwest Airlines Meltdown Was Decades in the Making" video.
Why are there no senators stranded in airports or never a part of the horror stories of our transportation system? It seems the inert mass of the American working classes need the connections drawn out for them that the inequality of classes in American society has, ---they do not get a sh*t about you, ---written all over it, when not one politician at the level of the state or federal government and not even the prominent officials of political organizations, celebrities, are ever stuck among the class of people dependent on air travel as a commodity. The airline companies service the working classes not the travel needs of the rich. The same disappearance act of the upper levels of bureaucracy is seen when cities fail. Emergency services in cities have been deprived of investment and made inadequate against floods and storms because they service the working class not the emergency needs of the rich and prominent. A two tier economy is the US economy. One for the rich and another for the working classes. A distinction that appears as never in their neighborhood or town that water mains deliver carcinogenic and polluted water as in the towns and cities of working poor. The crossfire of gun fire taking a child of their own on Park Avenue never happens. When migrants were bussed to Martha Vineyard the matter was quickly solved by the military but if that were Newark NJ no higher unity of authority would have done a dam thing to stop it from stressing out the city of Newark.
