@loranusef7656 , The vaccines are significantly more than somewhat effective. "Data collected from 18 states between March and August suggest the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine reduces the risk of being hospitalized with COVID-19 by 91% in the first four months after receiving the second dose. Beyond 120 days, however, that vaccine efficacy drops to 77%. Meanwhile, Moderna’s vaccine was 93% effective at reducing the short-term risk of COVID-19 hospitalization and remained 92% effective after 120 days."

@Kat-io6tv , It’s a matter of numbers. What’s more likely? Long Covid, or adverse reaction to the vaccines? We’ve vaccinated about 200 million Americans already and how many died and have long term adverse reactions compared to how many had Covid and died or have long Covid?

@cptrikester2671 , The short term side effects are quite well known at this time, and there’s no reason to believe there will be any new side effects cropping up in the future. These vaccines are not 100% free of side effects, but then neither is any other vaccines. Regardless, thanks for volunteering for the control group. I wouldn’t make that choice and I don’t understand why anyone else would, but I suppose someone’s gotta do it. Have you seen this one?
