@lindyashford7744 , 90% of those who are infected by the polio virus are asymptomtic. 50% who are infected by SARS-CoV-2 are asymptomatic. Asymptomatic means that they don’t know they were infected. It doesn’t necessarily mean that they will not experience any long term symptoms. How many other viruses cause asymptomatic infection that might lead to long term side effects in some people? How many cause asymptomatic infection in everyone yet long term symptoms in some? HPV? As medically advanced as we like to believe we are, we really aren’t. It’s not like it’s anyone’s fault. It just that we don’t know everything. What we do know is that 90-95% fewer people who are vaccinated are being hospitalized due to Covid than the immunologically naive.
