@johnkline1790 , In Alberta the 17% of the population that is unvaccinated make up 49% of the hospitalized. So in Alberta the vaccinated make up the majority of those hospitalized. But, only 17% are unvaccinated. If you do the math these numbers mean that the vaccines are 78.7% effective at preventing hospitalization. If you go find the numbers for Israel, and perform the same calculation, you will get that the vaccine used in Israel is 81% effective at preventing hospitalization. So yes. It’s true that the majority of those hospitalized because of Covid are vaccinated, you need to use your brain to figure out what it means. Unfortunately, there are an awful lot of people who don’t know how to use their brain. These people tend to become ignore ant antivaxxers.
