These numbers are useless without a time period and comparison with the numbers for the unvaccinated.

What we need to know is the average absolute risk in the vaccinated vs. the unvaccinated. The CDC should have the information required to make this calculation.

40% of infections over 60 makes sense when you account for the fact that they spent several months only vaccinating people over 60, and they reduced the age limit it 50 on April 1, then to 18+ on April 15. I mean, how could anyone vaccinated under 60 get Covid when they were only vaccinating people over 65? The answer is that they first vaccinated medical staff, and many of them were likely under 60. But how many? And how does that compare to how many vaccinated are over 60. Basically this 40% number is useless without more information. All these numbers are useless without more information. Better numbers would be what percentage of those vaccinated over 60 vs. what percentage under 60. They should just put all the raw data out there so someone smart can calculate numbers that are actually useful.
