Good. Ignore ant antivaxxers should lose their jobs. They should also no longer be allowed inside any establishment where others are inside like grocery stores and hospitals. Whenever they get sick they should be provided with an unlimited supply of Ivermectin and sent home. What happens to them should be monitored and broadcast live for everyone to watch and laugh at.

@ashleyhayes7568 , What do you mean “new” and “unproven”? Didn’t Malone say that he invented the vaccine in 1989? Doesn’t he have 9 patents? According to him these vaccines and the technology that he invented has 30 years of history.

The mRNA vaccines are the result of 50 years of research by many scientists, and Malone’s contribution was not just insignificant, but not even utilized. His contribution was so useless that after his work it took 30 more years an billions of dollars to get to where we are now. And, they know already that there are no long term effects. After 50 years of research they have learned a lot. They understand exactly how these mRNA vaccines work down to every detail. It took them 50 years to gain this understanding. What we don’t know is the long term effects of infection by this virus. It’s only been around for 2 years now, and we still have a lot to learn.

@susanrocksvold534 , There’s no new formula. They did start testing a Delta vaccine, and now an Omicron vaccine. But the FDA approved vaccine is not a “new formula”. You’re just confused. Probably not too bright too.

@davidbyrne669 , Because the phase 3 trial was ended as soon as the vaccines were proven safe and effective. It would have been unethical to allow the placebo branch of the trial to continue to be unvaccinated after the vaccines were proven safe and effective. Now all they’re doing is tracking long term efficacy. They will continue tracking long term efficacy until 2023, just like it says on clinical trials dot gov.

@davidbyrne669 , All the vaccines were proven safe before they were allowed to start the phase 3 clinical trials. All vaccines and drugs must be proven safe before they are allowed to start phase 3 efficacy trials. Then, all the vaccines that have received EUA approval have been proven both safe and effective. Pfizer and Moderna were proven both safe and effective over a year ago. Now, both Pfizer and Moderna have full FDA approval.

@davidbyrne669 , Phase 1- Emphasis during this phase is on safety and generally includes 20–100 volunteers who haven’t been exposed to the disease being studied and who are generally otherwise healthy. These studies are used to determine whether there are adverse reactions with increasing doses and, if possible, to gain early information about how well the vaccine works to induce an immune response in people.

These studies provide additional safety information on common short-term side effects and risks, examine the relationship between the dose administered and the immune response, and provide initial information regarding the effectiveness of the vaccine in its ability to generate an immune response. Standardized and validated tests are used to evaluate the immune responses. These vaccine studies typically also include a control group consisting of people who may receive an FDA-approved vaccine, a placebo or another substance. People receiving the vaccine under study are compared to people in the control group.

This phase includes additional information about immune response and compares those who receive the vaccine to those who receive a control, such as a placebo. For example, the number of cases of disease in the vaccinated group is compared to the number in the control group to see whether the vaccine reduces the incidence of disease. These studies also provide information about the vaccine’s safety including the identification of less common side effects.

@Happy Patriot, Phase 3 vaccine clinical trials are usually around 3,000 participants. These vaccines enlisted over 30,000 people. They did this so that it would take 1/10th the time for about 150 study participants to get sick with Covid so they could prove efficacy 10x sooner than if they had enlisted only 3,000 participants. Pfizer was approved first because they enlisted over 40,000 participants.

@Happy Patriot, Also, part of the approval process is approving the manufacturing process, the factory, and the quality control. Because the government ordered and paid for 100 million doses in advance, they were able to build the factory, get it approved, and start manufacturing the vaccines before the phase 3 trials were completed. Normally they would never do that because there’s too much of a risk that the vaccines might not be effective. Normally they would have to prove that the vaccines are effective first, then find investors to fund the manufacturing facilities, then get the manufacturing process FDA approved. This is what usually takes 10 years. It also takes a very long time to develop new technologies. The mRNA technologies involved in the mRNA vaccines took over 50 years, billions of dollars, and thousands of scientists to develop. Even after Malone’s tiny contribution, it still took 30 more years and billions of dollars more research to overcome the remaining obstacles.
