  8. @Visuvh, 35-40 cycles will detect virus RNA fragments very accurately. If you want to detect infection, that’s the proper way to do it. For it to be a “case” they need to experience symptoms. No symptoms, then there’s no case regardless of the number cycles. So you’re right. They are testing with RT-PCR to stop the spread.

  9. @Una Mcgurry, How can a lawsuit against the WHO be won? The WHO has no power. They just say whatever they want. It’s up to doctor and countries or whoever to either listen to their nonsense or not. I don’t understand or believe they can be held liable for anything, because they’re not decision makers. Nothing is up to them.

  10.  @hughmanbeing1050 , That depends on whether they just got infected, or they’re finished. If they’re finished with the virus, then sure. The question is whether we should have them return to get tested again, or what? Maybe if they have had symptoms, and those symptoms are going away, we might be able to assume it’s the end, and if there have been no symptoms, we could assume it’s the beginning. Then, if it’s the beginning, put them in quarantine for two days, then test them again. But with a shortage of tests, is this a good idea? If the goal is to stop people from spreading the virus, and there’s a shortage of testing capacity, what would you suggest?
