@Martin P, Now he’s claiming that BA.2 is milder than BA.1 when he knows full well that they’re were fewer immunologically naive when BA.2 started spreading than when BA.1 started spreading because BA.1 started spreading first. Therefore more people had immunity against severe illness when exposed to BA.2 than when exposed to BA.1. Obviously if you already have immunity against severe disease when exposed, your symptoms will be milder. This basically means that immunity is a real thing, which we all already knew. That’s why smart people get vaccinated.
