@ExMachina70 , Ukraine can do the same, use that time to reposition their troops. In fact, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with them starting a 3rd counter offensive in the middle of the peace talks. They could even tell Putin to his face that if he wants peace, he can remove his Nazi troops from all of Ukraine, including Donbas and Crimea while they are conducting their 3rd counter offensive.

@kineahora8736 , NATO could also tell Russia that if they cause any nuclear disasters, it would be considered and responded to exactly as if it were a nuclear attack.

@phild3936 , “He got greedy because…” Right. Appeasement lead to WW2, and appeasement will lead to WW3. That’s why this should have been stopped in 2014, and must be stopped now. We are all very fortunate that Ukraine is capable and willing to fight this war for the rest of us. We should support them in every way that we can.

@geradkavanagh8240 , Every decent human being would obviously support the country being invaded rather than the country bombing the chit out of everything with massive amounts of artillery and murdering and torturing civilians. In this war the Russians are behaving exactly like the German Nazis in WW2.

@1man1bike1road , Unfortunately pushing too far could leave Ukraine vulnerable. There’s a balance. If they are able to devote sufficient resources to set up proper defenses along the Oskil river faster than the Russians can and also continue to advance into Russian held territory, then they should continue to advance as they are setting up those defensive positions. Another problem is processing all the new POWs, weapons, and ammo that they have acquired. These things can be performed by non soldiers though, so they should have special non soldier crews to perform these tasks so that the experienced and trained soldiers are free to continue to overpower the Russian forces on the front lines. The problem is logistical. How do you organize all this stuff so it doesn’t turn into a mess? Did they really plan for such a successful advance? They may not have if they didn’t expect this offensive to be so successful.

@ss ll, Russian have been squatting in Crimea and Donbas for over 8 years now. They should, and will be evicted. By force if necessary. If they love Russia so much, then that’s where they should go.

@kineahora8736 , I believe that after Russia is pushed out of Ukraine, the portion of Russia that’s between Ukraine and Kazakhstan should be liberated and turned into its own independent country. Russia should no longer have access to the Black Sea. And China should take Siberia. Biden should tell China that they can have Siberia if they want. The United States won’t intervene. Then about a month after China beings their invasion, Kazakhstan, Georgia, and Ukraine should form an alliance similar to NATO and then annex that portion between them. Then after that, Norway, Sweden and Finland should annex that portion to the east if Finland. Russia can be a little irrelevant country in the middle of nothing with no access to the sea. They don’t need access to the sea since they won’t be exporting anything ever again anyway.
