  6. Sounds like CCP is compelling female students to provide "companionship" to foreign males studying in China. For the CCP, every thing is a means to achieve a strategic goal. In this video, foreign students from countries included in the BRI are given the preferential treatment: free board and lodging, free scholarships, regular stipend and, the icing on the cake, female study companion. This is an outright bribery/prostitution to curry favor and maintain good relations with countries China had already tucked in its belt. They'd rather use money and pimp their young female students (presumably under pain of being stripped of their own scholarship) to gain favor in the world stage, than use it to develop their own youth population.
