  1. I have read Michail Gorbachov's interview about this topic and what he said has a higher value to me than what the west said because the west would have said anything just to reunite Germany. And Michail said that the expansion of Nato was not discussed at all, the contract is set to have an open door policy to all european countries if they would like to join as a member of Nato however it was discussed that no Nato troops should be stationed in east Germany and beyond. Now i question myself how is it possible to be part of Nato and not allow Nato troops on ur soil, for example according to Gorbachov Poland could become a member of Nato but not having any Nato troops in Poland.
