  1. We had laws to prevent media monopolies in this country but those laws were dismantled by, (no prizes for guessing who) the LNP! I mean why wouldnt they want their boss Murdoch controlling the vast majority of news coverage? And the ABC is firmly in Murdoch’s cross hairs.

  2. BS! The ABC is not partisan! But, because the centre is too far left the LNP and it is constantly embarrassed by middling common sense, it cries foul. Mean while, Murdoch attacks the ABC every chance he gets because it’s viewers don’t pay to read, listen and watch his right wing propaganda! In short, he wants the competition gone so he can sell more propaganda, get richer, have more control over Australian’s information sources and thus their thinking!
