  1. Ukraine could have had the capabilities but the West didn't want to "escalate things or cause a nuclear strike." Guess those ships never sailed. A little General Patton philosophy would have been useful from the first day.

  2. Putler thinks in one dimension only - get weapons from anywhere he can. That's all well and good but it comes down to the guys using those weapons. If they aren't fed, led, paid, rotated out, and encouraged - no amount of weapons in the world are going to bring Russia a victory. Leveling civilian buildings and killing non-military personnel by the thousands doesn't win you a war. Trained and effective troops do.
