I think renovation shows need to focus less on entertainment and more on the renovations they promise. Maybe hire ppl with degrees in construction and architecture, and not some pretender clowns.

@luisdavidllense2293 I suppose in this day and age ppl depend on pretend like a drug. Makes them feel more tolerable about reality. But there's been plenty of honest shows that never needed to pretend to be entertaining. Top Gear was almost a religion for me until the original hosts left. You ever watched it? It's a British show about test driving, reviewing, and even doing crazy projects with cars. It was both honest and entertaining. The original hosts (Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May) were phenomenal. Sadly they departed after having some issues with the studio. But they bounced back and started another show called Grand Tour. Still about cars, still honest and still very entertaining.
