@IMeMineWho Then the answer for this predicament is obviously further organized action along the same lines until all those missing benefits you mentioned are secured as well, not just waiting around for a perfect advocate in the meantime. If Fran is as fully labor-illiterate as commenters claim, then she is still a case of “broken clocks are right twice a day” here, and I’m sure many people inspired by her supposedly inauthentic speech will still make improvements to the safety net for decades to come (especially with crossovers amongst Amazon/Starbucks workers etc. amidst a general-strike) 🤷‍♂️ I was never a fan of Bernie Sanders’ nonsensical defense of “veterans who served our country” because I don’t support ANY corporatized murder of foreigners over oil/minerals/stocks, but I still recognized that he was the single biggest breath of fresh air America had enjoyed in a long time, so I voted for him every primary and volunteered for months on his campaign All because he was good enough, and I also tried to surmise where the wind was blowing. Not because I agreed with everything he said, or mistook him for an answer to every single problem in this country
