@jimcrelm9478 That’s exactly what I was worried about, though: the necessary “moral-imperative critical mass” might not be reached until enough people go through another full-blown recession, as you said. Far too many Americans are only willing to learn the hard way ☹️

@jimcrelm9478 What you’re pointing to is a long-term ideal, but how do you expect we tangibly approach that level of direct involvement in the meantime? Especially when your average Democrat is still dim enough to buy Biden’s crap about his dead son “preventing” him from supporting Medicare4All or whatever?

@cwillott We can have the positives of unionization without the negatives Just like we can mirror FDR’s labor policy without also chasing after his anti-Japanese policy
