There’s no way that’s a real laugh lmao He sounded like a broken PeeWee Herman robot
14
He needs a firmware update
10
@powerfulaura5166 “Best” according to what lmao, your random opinion?
7
@shogreene9215 Just because I know how to cook doesn’t mean I go tasting garbage to expand my palate Use your brain a little
6
Bernie tried, but the Dem voters wouldn’t let him in 😞
5
She did show up at the border, though So she’s not always too busy
3
@brushcountry6361 The one we’re already commenting under, hello?
3
@thehumanity0 Alternatively: we should hold politicians to their own commitments, and stop this silly hero-worship of public officials As for Carlson and his ilk, “even a broken clock is right twice a day”
2
In what universe is Amazon not already fighting tooth & nail to stop unionization in its warehouses? David’s goofy analysis makes no sense here. AOC has been to rallies before, she just chose to skip this one for some reason
2
AOC’s been to rallies before. So she gets no free pass on this absence from me
2
I read on this thread that he’s trying to create an artificial mental rift in his viewers’ minds between unions and worker power
2
@o0usf0o She coordinated with the protests outside Pelosi’s office for a while as well You can come up with whatever random excuses you want, but at the end of the day she’s pretty clearly taking it easier nowadays than she used to back then
1
@thehumanity0 1) You’re not understanding the “broken” part of broken clock, and 2) Tucker’s many flaws are irrelevant to AOC’s failure of leadership here She is far from an ideal politician right now, and news stories such as this one highlight that fact pretty conveniently
1
I kinda lost faith in her leadership after she stopped picketing Pelosi’s office for climate change She seemed to transform into a “pragmatic” creature after that for me
1
AOC’s definitely gone to rallies before, so it was a little bit interesting to see the no-show here Ah well
1
His ass still hurts from that Jon Stewart beatdown
1
Did she say she would show up personally, though? If yes, then yeah that’s kinda messed up from her lol
1
Amen. She’s weirdly inconsistent sometimes
1
@carrieullrich5059 She’s been to rallies before
1
They’re already pushing back to the full, they know what unionization means But at the end of the day they can’t make up the votes
1
Well with AOC it’s interesting, because her past behavior has been a mixed bag
1
@carrieullrich5059 That’s not an excuse for AOC to be absent
1
No, I think AOC’s absence was the cause of people discussing her absence lol Compared to her early years, she’s far more comfortable leading from behind now
1
@marygrace7016 No you’re right, her other numerous gaffes define her. Taking it easy on Pelosi, claiming Biden “exceeded all progressive expectations”, floating the public option as some sort of goofy detour on the way to Medicare4All etc. etc.
1
@marygrace7016 Not only did you conveniently ignore my other two points (I wonder why), but AOC’s protests against Pelosi easily predate Jeffries’ promotion to Democratic Caucus leader. Only an idiot would try using that angle as an excuse for AOC treating Pelosi with kid gloves lol So again: you can try concocting whatever stupid excuses you like, but at the end of the day actions speak louder than words. And AOC’s actions are pretty lacking nowadays Perhaps that congressional salary is beginning to go to her head
1
@marygrace7016 No, I’m saying that she is far more toothless nowadays than a few years ago. She’s been getting way too complacent with her cozy social/financial status for me to trust that she’ll continue fighting for us on her own when pressed. I’ve got my eyes fully opened nowadays, after Warren’s completely two-faced 180 You’re free to worship whichever politician you want. Just like I’m free to reject your religion as well
1
@marygrace7016 AOC already walked back on the push for M4A, floating the “public option” as if that’s an actual idea for intelligent people She’s sounding more like Warren
1
@marygrace7016 It’s not even “temporary”, and that’s EXACTLY what Pharma-funded Democrats like Warren don’t want the public to fully understand. If you create a two-lane healthcare system, the public tier will inevitably become much slower and inefficient by virtue of demand-volume alone. But rather than push to simply streamline those hurdles, corporate Dems will instead use that dynamic as a test-case to “prove that government programs are inefficient compared to private insurance”, thereby keeping our nation’s healthcare Reaganized forever (as sponsored puppets like the Clintons fought to). The only safe and logical option is thus to fight for M4A from Day 1, and fight like hell for that alone. So either AOC is just … too dumb to understand all this (at best), OR actively indicating she is willing to play ball with Big Pharma in the future (at worst). And clearly neither of those are worth voting for, sorry
1
@Andy-km1xp A lot of real life is stereotypical, doofus
1
“Nothing to gain”? They’re blockading Republican propaganda on their own network Bernie literally got a Fox News townhall to applaud universal healthcare before. It’s only effective if you’re not bought & paid for by corporations, which is why most Dems flee from the opportunity
1
@dsmith11373 Well no shit they wouldn’t vote Democrat if Hillary and Biden turned out to be the candidate instead lmao When did I say they were just as effective cross-over nominees as Bernie is?
