@sophiophile Buddy: I’m saying that a mind that young CAN’T independently “consent”. Whether to a sex change, to a sexual relationship, anything. If someone is too young to be entrusted with consciously pursuing a sexual relationship via anyone they please (as was the case with Priscilla Presley, who WAS eventually given the blessing of her parents by the way), then they are simultaneously too young to make serious, long-term decisions about which genitals they want to possess or remove from themselves Put another way: if a minor is somehow old enough for you to support them picking whichever gonads they want, then you must also allow them to USE those gonads however they want, even if they’d want to consummate with adults. To advocate anything else creates a double-standard, and I don’t need to tell you how unpopular those are to use amongst the general public
