I'm saying that the claim that China has 90% the people's trust around the world is delusional, along with the claim Saudi Arabia and the UAE are the 4th most trusted governments in the world. And that the ridiculous claim about trust in China goes against every poll conducted in a country about their peoples trust and favoring of China.

  2. I'm not going to go so far as calling that total bullshit, but I have searched Elderman's actual methodology and found that they provided almost squat as to how they got those numbers. All they say is that they used online surveys, asking 34,000 respondents. They don't say where they were from, or how they even identified if the respondents actually existed. They also claim that Saudi Arabia landed number 4 among the general population trust, the UAE landed number 4 among the "informed public". Then there is the fact all the local polls in countries from the U.S., to Australia, to Japan, to Poland to Korea show favor and trust in China decreasing, rapidly in 2020. Or the fact that none of those countries (even its largest supporters like Russia) having anywhere near 90% trust or favor of China. From what I've seen Edelman made outlandish claims backed up by unproven figures that go against dozens of other surveys around the globe.
