Lucy is not a psychopath for the simple reason she is innocent. This case should never have been bought to trial and the so called medical "experts" should have been ripped apart on the witness stand as being woefully out of their depth and engaging in wild unsupported speculation. Frankly it reeks of a cover up for clinical failures at the hospital.

@alayneperrott9693 Dr Dewi Evans was not a forensic pathologist, in fact by his own admission he was not an expert witness. Evans was a discredited retired paediatrician and should never have been used to give evidence in this case. His theories were unsubstantiated and were quite worthless. I prefer to believe the pathologists who carried out the post mortems on the neonates and found they died from natural causes. Before accusing, let alone charging anyone with mass murder its a good idea to re-examine the bodies, especially bodies that had post mortems and were found to have died from natural causes.

@ScotmanUK2000 "no one else around" Are you insane, it was a busy neonatal unit so there was always lots of people around. Air bubbles was the half-baked theory of discredited retired paediatrician Dewi Evans and not the pathologists who performed the post mortems and found the babies died of natural causes. There is no evidence insulin was given improperly by Ms Letby or anyone else. The testing for insulin was erroneous and should never have been tolerated in this case and should not have been agreed by Ben Myers. You're ignorant of the facts in this case if you think Lucy is guilty!

@jowallace4986 No-one did it! There were NO murders, it is obvious the babies died from clinical neglect because of incompetent doctors and sewage leaking into the unit on a regular basis certainly didn't help the situation. Who killed the babies who died from similar symptoms when Lucy was not on duty?

@Matt-ou7tu Peter Hitchens pointed out it is very difficult to employ defence witness experts in these sort of cases for some reason. Before accusing anyone of being England's most prolific baby murderer it might actually be a good idea to re-examine the bodies (especially bodies that had been autopsied and had been found to have died from natural causes. Instead we are expected to believe a retired discredited paediatrician, Dewi Evans and his biased NHS mates.

@alayneperrott9693 Dewi Evans, who reviewed all the medical and post-mortem reports was not an expert forensic pathologist, he was a retired paediatrician who had been discredited in a previous case.

@jowallace4986 No-one 'did it' The babies Lucy was supposed to have murdered had post mortems and were found to have died from natural causes. Unless, of course, you believe the discredited, long retired paediatrician, Dewi Evans who fantasized about air embolisms and insulin poisoning.
